enough to go around

much discussion has permeated the news and political discussions with respect to the pros/cons of modern interrogation techniques used on suspected and known terrorists.  there is no definitive evidence that any interrogation techniques ultimately work.  one evidence of this is the continuation of terrorists acts.  i am personally opposed to all interrogation techniques, in general.

i am interested in understanding if the waterboarding of a suspected al qaeda terrorist is any worse than the tactics employed by a perpetrator in a domestic violence relationship, or the perpetrator in a child abuse violation.  what about forced retirements and layoffs by a company ‘needing’ to make a particular profit margin?  what about the way in which we treat someone afficted with borderline personality disorder, or those folks living in the painful reality of the isolation that comes with depression?

wherever there are people there will be inhumanity
